PNP Responders making us proud in the "Games of Heroes"
I am honored to introduce to everyone the Philippines' representative in the "Games of Heroes" to be held in Fairfax County, VA, U.S.A. on June 26 to July 5, 205.
They are the PNP Responders Team who also play in the charitable basketball league of UNTV 37, the league of Public Servants.
When asked how he feels that he belongs to the team representing our country, SPO2 Dennis Escalona, one of the players said "I feel proud to represent the Philippines. PNP team is like a family to me, I have been with the team since 2004 playing in different leagues, so I'm vey happy to be a part of this team."
This is the first time the team is going to compete in this league.
I am sure that everyone is excited to watch the team make us proud!
The opening ceremonies will be on June 26th.
Fairfax 2015, Inc is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation established to organize, manage and operate all activities related to the 2015 World Police & Fire Games. Our primary objective is to honor and celebrate our community heroes – public safety officers from around the world – by delivering an amazing athlete experience and fully engaging the community to produce the best Games possible.
